We are seeking experienced project managers that can lead and deliver on the future development of our plantation industry to ensure a sustainable supply of timber for our state.
The FPC will be transitioning to a new business model as part of major changes in our operating environment, including the West Australian Government’s commitment to a new investment in softwood plantations over the next decade and changes to native forest policy. This is an exciting time to join the FPC to help shape the significant change in our commercial business model, including workforce skills, external stakeholder relationships and system changes.
About the roles
These project roles will be critical to help shape the transformational shift in the FPC’s way of doing business. They will provide senior project expertise as part of a high-functioning project group. Most specifically, these roles will assist in the planning and future development of our plantation industry to ensure a sustainable supply of timber for our state.
They will work closely with executive and play a critical part in liaison with key stakeholders such as landowners, the timber industry, local government councils and the WA Planning Commission. They will also ensure we meet our internal accountabilities around governance and reporting, including key relationships with WA Treasury and our Board and sub-committees. They will be able to scope, manage and influence the work required from both key internal and external stakeholders, including consultants.

Perth’s Central Business District is teeming with life with a strong cosmopolitan feel and with restaurants along the southern section offering sweeping views. Around Claisebrook Cove to the north, there are also casual bistros and cafes offering alfresco dining. Cycle and walking trails line the Swan River and cross the green spaces of Queens Gardens and Wellington Square. Located in Eastpoint Plaza our modern head office is conveniently located close to the bus and train network and easy parking options. The building has ample end of trip facilities with lockers, and river views.
