Office Supervisor - Christmas Island
General Division Level 3 up to $78,717 gross per annum (pro rata) + super + benefits (pro rata)
Fixed Term - Part time (15 hours per week)
About the role
This is a fixed term part time (15 hours per week) opportunity until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension.
The Office Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising day to day operations, supporting the Solicitor/Manager and contributing to the efficient and effective administration of all functions within the Christmas and Cocos Islands regional office situated on Christmas Island. The Office Supervisor may also provide paralegal services under supervision.
About you
The successful applicant will have the ability to build rapport and trusted relationships within the community, possess organisational and communication skills, have knowledge of Microsoft applications and experience working in a frontline service delivery position.
Fluency and literacy in a Chinese dialect or Malay will be preferred.
The successful applicant may also provide a range of paralegal services under supervision. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to analyse a client related problem and determine appropriate required assistance.
