The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT) was established on 1 July 2022 when the Arts and Culture Trust Act 2021 was proclaimed, replacing the Perth Theatre Trust (PTT).

About the roles
The Cooks and Commis Chefs are responsible for the preparation and production of superior food services for the Arts and Culture Trust, Albany Entertainment Centre. This is inclusive of functions, View restaurant and event requirements, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
About you
We are seeking suitably experienced people to join the dedicated team at the Albany Entertainment Centre (AEC) who have a passion for delivering unique, mouth-watering menus, using the finest locally sourced ingredients in the Great Southern.
As a cook or commis chef at AEC, you will assist in preparing elegant dining experiences in a comfortable setting whilst being located just meters away from Albany’s beautiful Princess Royal Harbour.
The successful applicants will be expected to:
Work effectively in a team environment, maintain high standards of food service, operate kitchen equipment and maintain safe Foodsafe practices.

Eligibility to Apply
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
For casual positions, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 10 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Noting there may be subsequent pool vacancies advertised within this period.
Casual appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies with the Arts and Culture Trust for the duration of the pool.

This role is based at the Albany Entertainment Centre (AEC).
