The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT) was established on 1 July 2022 when the Arts and Culture Trust Act 2021 was proclaimed, replacing the Perth Theatre Trust (PTT).

About the roles
The Food and Beverage Attendants and Supervisors are responsible for providing consistent and high-quality food and beverage services. They provide exceptional presentation and service delivery to all clients and patrons whilst forming an integral part of a strong, supportive, and professional team.
We have a variety of positions available.
The Food and Beverage Attendant (Level 1-4):
The level assigned to your role will depend on:
- Possession of relevant mandatory qualifications for the role
- Business needs
- Your knowledge and experience in carrying out the duties of the role
The Food and Beverage Supervisor (Level 5):
In addition to the above, the Supervisor’s key duties will include stock management, POS and cash handling activities, developing the weekly roster for staff, control of wastage, liaising with other departments regarding event requirements, approved managers duties for responsible service of alcohol, ensuring all associated equipment is operational and ensuring a safe workplace.
About you
The Food and Beverage Attendant
You will be the face of the Arts and Culture Trust’s dining and catering experience. You actively contribute to this team’s efforts in providing a welcoming environment and experiences that will turn your customers into raving fans, resulting in growth of our customer base.
Your recent hospitality experience has given you the ability to anticipate the customer’s needs, quickly develop a relationship and deliver informative, excellent and courteous service.
You use your initiative to support the team as well as improving your knowledge of culinary delights on offer.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor
Your previous experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor in a busy customer service environment has provided you with strong leadership skills which you use to effectively support, manage and motivate a small team.
The team will be provided with a positive role model when you demonstrate your passion for customer service, provide outcomes that delight your clients and smoothly ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol.
Your exceptional time management, attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills will contribute to increasing profitability, improvements in hygiene, health and safety and resolve unexpected operational issues.

Eligibility to Apply
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
You must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Casual appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies within the Department for the duration of the pool.

Location
These roles are primarily based at His Majesty’s Theatre and State Theatre Centre however you may be required to work at any of ACT’s metropolitan sites.
