The Voluntary Intern Placement (VIP) Program will run for two weeks in January/February 2023 and again in June/July 2023 (exact dates yet to be confirmed).
Participants in the program will complete 75 hours of voluntary work in a division of Legal Aid WA's Perth office under the supervision of an appointed solicitor.
Regional placements may be available on request, however Legal Aid WA will not cover any travel or accommodation costs associated with these placements.
To be eligible, applicants must be law students entering their final year of studies in 2023.
The following dates apply to the VIP recruitment and selection process for 2023:
