About the Position
We are looking for an inspirational lecturer who is passionate about passing their vocation on to the workforce of the future.
This position will be delivering training in high demand resources and infrastructure industry skill sets including, Work Safely at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Manual Handling and White Card. Mobile plant operation experience and existing WorkSafe Assessor accreditation, or ability to obtain, highly regarded. Travel between campuses is a requirement of this role.
To be successful, you will have the following…
- Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (minimum of 5 years)
- Relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:
Essential:
- RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights
- RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
- MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres
Desirable: WorkSafe Assessor accreditation, or the ability to obtain WorkSafe Assessor accreditations for the following:
- TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck
- TLILIC0005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform
- CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level
- CPCCLDG3001 Licence to perform dogging
- CPCCLSF2001 - Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding
- It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or can demonstrate willingness or progression towards achieving it.
