About the Role
The Contract Support Officer role is an exciting blend of various administrative and contract management support functions and is part of the broader Contracts Management & Procurement team at VenuesWest. This privileged and diverse role provides high level administrative support and reports directly to the General Manager of Contracts & Procurement (who is also the State Representative for Optus Stadium and the Landlord of the Camfield pub) whose Branch provides contracts and procurement advice and services across 13 venues. The Contract Support Officer provides secretariat and governance support, ensures the effective management of schedules, working group and stakeholder meetings, and prepares various agendas, action lists, minutes, correspondence and reports. They also coordinate office management activities; provide administrative support to the Branch; create efficiencies in processes, and records management, support ad hoc contract management deliverables, and perform other duties as required.
This permanent, full-time opportunity will be based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, although mobility may be required from time to time between the portfolio of facilities.

About the Person
The successful candidate will be a team player and have experience in providing high level executive support including but not limited to drafting reports, correspondence, and submissions, as well as processing accounts payable. Experience with contracts or other legal instruments would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will ideally have strong interpersonal skills, good attention to detail, and be well-prepared, with both flexibility and an ability to respond to requests on short notice.
