Senior Client Services Officer

What will your typical day look like?
As the Senior Client Services Officer, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of business support and high-level administrative services to our Northam regional office and the Farming Systems Innovation Director. You will undertake and support administrative processes in partnership with different internal service groups such as human resources, finance, procurement, and information technology. You will be part of a geographically diverse team of administrative staff, overseeing service delivery improvements, customer service and task assignment as necessary.

This role is suitable for someone who is experienced and passionate about customer service, is well organised and values continuous improvement. While the main role is centred on undertaking administrative and business support services, your innovative thinking will be required to help improve delivery of the services to produce desired outcomes. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be necessary given that you will be coordinating and liaising with different groups and projects in the department. Your well-developed experience and understanding of effective client services is imperative as you will coordinate and oversee a wonderful team of accomplished and new administrative officers. While it is not required, exposure to working in a regional office setting and/or coordinating within other state government agencies is advantageous.
