We are establishing a 24 month appointment pool for vacancies that arise up to 30 May 2024. We may offer fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency. We will initially have three part time (0.4 FTE) appointments to appoint immediately at our Broome, Pundulmurra (South Hedland) and Karratha Campuses.

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic, supportive individuals with a demonstrated understanding of the needs of students with disability and how to empower them in a vocational education environment.
This position is responsible for assisting students with disability to fully participate in the learning environment and successfully complete training and assessment requirements, taking into account their barriers to learning.
This would include, for example identifying and implementing effective working practices with the students such as clarifying information, practicing lecturer-directed tasks, and assisting with access to adaptive and assistive technology and appropriate learning resources.
