This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 months.
This position is part of WA Radiology Training Program. The successful applicant will rotate to other hospitals with the program both in the Metropolitan as well as some private sites including regional and rural training sites.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 21/10/2022.
Position Profile The West Australian Radiology Training Program is seeking a suitably qualified applicant for radiology registrar training. The successful applicant will be required to undertake inpatient and outpatient diagnostic reporting and interventional medical imaging procedures as instructed and supervised. They will also be required to assist in providing an on-call and emergency diagnostic and interventional medical imaging service.
Whilst the WA Radiology Training Program is administered through Royal Perth Hospital, as part of their training the successful applicant will rotate through - Royal Perth; Sir Charles Gairdner, Fiona Stanley and Perth Children's Hospitals. The following private rotations are also inclusive of the Training Program - Global Diagnostics Bunbury, SKG Radiology and Perth Radiological Clinic.
It is a requirement of this position that the incumbent has General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
