The PTA’s Environmental Services Branch in our Infrastructure Planning and Land Services Division provides environmental and Aboriginal heritage advice to PTA’s business units enabling infrastructure planning and construction to proceed and supporting operations to comply with our environmental and Aboriginal heritage obligations and commitments.

We are looking for two GIS professionals to join the Geospatial Services section of our Environmental Services Branch. In these roles you will be contributing to the planning of safe passenger transport services on rail, coach, buses and ferries, as well as the delivery of large infrastructure projects to expand our service network under METRONET.

As our Senior GIS Coordinator you will lead the Division’s activities to deliver geospatial analysis, mapping and advisory services which enable infrastructure planning to proceed and the PTA to obtain environmental and Aboriginal heritage approvals.

To be successful as a Senior GIS Coordinator you will have extensive experience in a geographic information environment and/or a relevant qualification in Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Science, Surveying, Cartography or related discipline.
