The Role
In this position, you will provide engineering support with respect to the optimisation, reliability and availability of new and existing rollingstock assets using reliability engineering principals and processes. This role plays a key role in achieving long term, measurable improvements in safety, performance, and efficiency of the Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) electric and diesel rollingstock assets.
About you
Relevant Engineering Qualifications as well as proven experience in maintenance and reliability of heavy mobile equipment and / or rollingstock engineering is essential for the role.
Crucial to your success in this role, is your proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your sound leadership skills including experience in leading, motivating and developing staff together with the ability to provide clear advice, direction and appropriate feedback to multi-disciplinary teams will be highly regarded
To be effective and successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in using computerised maintenance management systems software together with have well-developed organisational skills with the ability to achieve agreed targets.
Currently there is one (1) full time permanent position available for immediate appointment.
This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which permanent and fixed term appointments with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency may be made.
