We are seeking applications from eligible, qualified early childhood, primary and secondary teachers available during the 2022 school year.
About the role
Flying Squad teachers fill short term, last minute vacancies in our rural, regional and remote schools.
It is important to be able to quickly and readily engage students. Our Flying Squad team have success where they can use a range of teaching skills, have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and utilise effective classroom management strategies.

Why join us?
This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who are not appointed to a school for 2022. Appointments are usually for periods of between four and ten weeks. It’s a great way to explore Western Australia while teaching in our amazing country schools. You can read more from one of our teachers in her travel blog.
Our Teacher Flying Squad members receive free accommodation and travel to and from the location of any appointment.

You can submit an application at any time during the term of this pool. If you are placed in the pool, you will be contacted to establish your availability for individual appointments. Placement to the pool is not a guarantee of an offer of employment.
