About this opportunity
We are looking to establish a pool to suitable candidates to fill the positions of Trainee Signal Maintainers.
As a Trainee Signal Maintainer, you will gain on the job experience assisting with the maintenance of our signalling system infrastructure across the urban metropolitan rail network, whilst also receiving ongoing training and development through our Registered Training Organisation.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which appointments will be made.
What do I need to become a Trainee Signal Maintainer?
This is a great opportunity for people interested in starting a career in the rail industry. As a Trainee Signal Maintainer, you will be a good team player with a willingness and commitment to learn. You will also have suitable numeracy, literacy and communication skills and a sound mechanical aptitude (including an ability to use hand and power tools, machinery and equipment). A current unrestricted C Class WA driver’s licence and the ability to undertake shift work are also essential.
