About this opportunity
We are looking to establish a pool to suitable candidates to fill the positions of Signal Maintainers.
As an experienced Signal Maintainer, you will perform a wide range of tasks associated with the ongoing maintenance of our power/mechanical signalling equipment and protected level crossing systems across the urban metropolitan rail network.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which permanent and fixed term appointments will be made.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for experienced Signal Maintainers wishing to continue their career in the rail industry with a leading provider of public transport in Australia.
With relevant signal maintenance competence and experience in a rail environment, you will also have sound mechanical aptitude (including proficiency in using and operating relevant hand and power tools, machinery and equipment) and a willingness to participate in ongoing development and training. Sound literacy, numeracy, communication and computer skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team are also important in this role. It is also essential that you have a current unrestricted C Class WA driver’s licence, current accreditation in Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces and a Construction Industry White Card.
For appointment at Level 4, you will also have exposure to supervising a team and can demonstrate the skills to lead and supervise others.
Your commencement salary/level will be dependent on your skills, competence and experience.
