The position
The Customer Contact Officer sits inside the Customer Information Directorate and supports the DMIRS Service Delivery Model and Regional Service Delivery Model through the provision of quality frontline customer service to internal and external customers. This position works as a part of a frontline regionally based customer service team and provides publically available information to DMIRS customers face to face at the service counter and also via telephone and email.
The regional service counter teams are usually the first point of contact for local customers seeking assistance or information. The regional service counter teams also assist the Perth based contact centres by taking calls and providing information via the contact centre telephony system during peak periods. These diverted calls can come in from any DMIRS customers in the state – not just the regional locations.
While working in an environment with competing priorities, we require our Customer Contact Officers to possess excellent customer service and communication skills to provide timely and accurate information to DMIRS customers. It is also essential for you to work efficiently as part of a team and demonstrate ability to provide administrative support while using a variety of software systems.
This position is located in Kalgoorlie. Please click here to get to know more about the region.
