Early Intervention Services Division
This pool recruitment process will be used to fill permanent, fixed term, full time and part time vacancies that may arise over a period of 12 months from the date of finalisation of the recruitment process.

Legal Aid WA seeks candidates interested in applying for inclusion into the Administration Officer / Paralegal Pool for positions which become available during the next 12 months within our Early Intervention Services Division.
About the role
In this role you will be required to deal with clients and provide legal information within defined guidelines and timeframes as well as undertake a broad range of administrative duties across the Division.
As a part of the team you could be expected to undertake any of the following duties:
- Greeting and initial intake of clients that present to our Perth reception.
- Initial intake of clients calling our Infoline.
- Responding to legal enquiries through our online Infochat service.
- Speaking with external stakeholders to facilitate client referrals.
- Various data entry duties including the submission of applications for legal representation.
About you
The ideal candidates will have;
- Experience working as part of a team and the ability to contribute positively.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- An understanding of Legal Aid services and other service providers in the community is desirable.

The attached Job Description Form (JDF) provides an overview of the role, along with the selection criteria against which you will be assessed throughout the selection process.
