Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Team Profile: Putting people at the centre of care and ensuring people have access to care when they need it is at the heart of what we are trying to do.
We are seeking to build our team to achieve the vision for the Outpatient Reform Program: transforming the patient journey – making it simpler to navigate; ensuring every appointment adds value; and improving access for those who need it most.
The Smart Referrals WA Project is a key deliverable of the Outpatient Reform Program and aims to deliver an integrated and fully electronic external referral management solution. Other key deliverables include the Digital Outpatients project – to enable virtual care to become the regular mode of service delivery for outpatient appointments, and the Outpatient Direct (OPD) Program – including program management of OPD and leadership across the Manage My Care project (Patient Mobile App for outpatient services). Our team is building capability and requires people with an understanding of the patient journey and a desire to make a difference to provide meaningful health outcomes for the WA community.
This recruitment pool may also be used to fill positions in other portfolios within the System Clinical Support and Innovation unit such as Emergency Access reform – improving access to emergency care in WA as a critical priority; as well as other units within the Clinical Leadership and Reform area, such as Clinical Planning.
