This pool recruitment process will be used to fill permanent, fixed term, full time and part time vacancies that may arise over a period of 12 months from the date of finalisation of the recruitment process.
About the role
The newly established Lawyers Engagement Network division is responsible for the assignment of legal aid grants to private practitioners and in-house staff. The division is also responsible for managing the private practitioner panels, and the audit and integrity program.
The Grants Officer will assess a high volume of applications for legal aid across all areas of law, and assist a wide range of vulnerable clients throughout Western Australia. You will also be part of a positive and energetic team, providing assistance and building strong working relationships with the private practitioners acting for legally aid clients.

- demonstrated working knowledge of the Western Australian legal systems, practices and procedures as well as community based advice and support services.
