The Role
The Conditioning Monitoring Engineer provides engineering support and expertise for the identification and implementation of condition monitoring solutions that significantly contribute to the overall performance, reliability and compliance of the rail network.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Possession of an appropriate Engineering Degree that would satisfy the admission requirement for professional membership to IEAust (Engineers Australia).
- Substantial experience within the rail industry in the track discipline.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in
- Project and contract management
- Managing risks and implementing appropriate controls
- Recent experience in condition monitoring systems commissioning and operations.
- Proven experience in providing engineering expertise and knowledge in the planning, design and delivery of maintenance and/or construction works in an operational asset intensive environment.
- Proven experience in applying safety management systems and knowledge of the Rail Safety Legislation.
- Proven experience in applying asset management frameworks contributing to asset management strategy.
This is a fixed term appointment up to 30 June 2023 with possible extension and/or permanency.
