Conditions
We currently have available one (1) fulltime Volunteer Coordinator position, although the Museum may also consider part time proposals. The role is available for immediate filling. The position will be required to work a 6 week roster that will include weekend shifts that will be subject to the applicable penalty rates.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the Culture and Arts Portfolio and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered - permanent and fixed term, part time and full time.

Job Description
Supervision of volunteers onsite at the WA Museum Boola Bardip including overseeing volunteers, conducting tours and visitor engagement activities with members of the public. Conducts the induction, rostering and training of volunteers.
