Appointment Pool
Rossmoyne Senior High School (SHS) are seeking to establish a pool of Career and Enterprise Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year. It’s an exciting time to join our school community as we start to implement our new Business Plan.
Suitable applicants will ideally have experience teaching in this area of learning, will be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and possess strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Suitable applicants will be directly involved in teaching both ATAR and General Career and Enterprise courses. They will ideally possess a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) to deliver Certificate II in Community Services to students and will possess an engaging teaching style which utilises a variety of methods to promote positive learning.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. (Applicants who require a Limited Registration to teach from the TRB are not eligible). TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
