We are looking for men and women who are seeking a challenging and exciting opportunity with a strong focus on delivering good customer service.
Transperth Train Operations is seeking to create a pool of new recruits to be fully trained in the role of Transit Officer. The pool will remain open for a period of six months.
Our Transit Officers have excellent listening skills and remain calm when faced with challenging situations. They provide a superior customer service to our passengers and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of all who travel on our urban network.
Being a Transit officer is a challenging and often demanding role with great rewards, pay and conditions. You will be part of a large and dynamic team working in a variety of locations across the metropolitan rail network.
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is expanding and we are now recruiting to cater for the growing requirements.
We are expanding to Yanchep, and from Thornlie to Cockburn. This is in addition to the new projects of Ellenbrook to Perth and the High Wycombe Airport Link.
The High Wycombe Airport Link is a new train line that will connect Forrestfield to the Perth CBD, opening up Perth’s eastern suburbs to the rail network for the first time, and giving Perth Airport users the option of taking the train instead of driving. It includes three new stations: Redcliffe, Airport Central and High Wycombe.
While our main focus is on recruiting for High Wycombe Airport Link, you may be rostered to any of the lines at Armadale, Clarkson, Fremantle, Mandurah, Midland or Perth.
