Efficient public transport is vital for the continued growth of the Western Australian economy and with investment in expansion of the urban rail network continuing via programs such as METRONET, the PTA needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.
The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to immediately join our team in the Program and Projects Branch (P&P) and drive the strategic progression of our program of 100+ active projects across the organisation in the Business Transformation and Technology space.
To be considered for this role, you will be expected to have demonstrated experience in leading and delivering projects relating specifically to ICT and business transformation. Furthermore you will need to have proven ability to motivate and empower project team members to accomplish strategic goals and also be able to create an environment that promotes and can sustain change.
To be appointed as a Senior Project Manager you will have significant experience managing medium to highly complex, multi-disciplined projects. You will also have qualifications in project management or equivalent experience to meet the requirements of Professional Membership of the Australian Institute of Project Management
There is currently one permanent position available for filling.
Pool
Suitable applicants will be placed into a pool for 12 months from which fixed term or permanent appointments may be made at the level commensurate with the level of competency.
