The PTA are seeking experienced, professional Workplace Trainer & Assessors to join the Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) training team responsible for the delivery of nationally recognised qualifications for the Train Operations Network Control section.

Reporting to the L&OD Training Manager, you will be responsible for providing training design, course delivery and trainee assessment for new and existing employees in Network Control. You will be closely involved with the Network Control stakeholders and contribute to projects and activities that ensure quality training programs and people development.
We are seeking professionals with these skills and attributes:
- Possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TLI 40116 or equivalent;
- Considerable experience in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of adult learning and development programs;
- Relevant experience in a Network Control role;
- Sound understanding of the Railway Safety Act 2015 and regulatory requirements ie Safeworking; and
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and to build and maintain productive relationships.
For the right candidate, the PTA will consider requests for short term employment contracts of six (6) months to two (2) years initially, with the possibility of extension and or permanency. Remuneration will be commensurate with the level of experience, knowledge and qualifications that you bring to the role. The PTA offer support with visa sponsorship and relocation to Perth, Western Australia where this position is based.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool for twelve months from which permanent and fixed term appointments will be made.
