The Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) vision is to be recognised as a leader in providing world-class public transport services and solutions. As a fast growing economy, Western Australia’s public transport system is recognised as the best in Australia and is one of the most efficient, clean and safe networks in the world. Efficient public transport is vital for the continued growth of the Western Australian economy and with investment in expansion of the urban rail network continuing via programs such as METRONET, the PTA needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.
The Corporate Communications Division is looking for an experienced relationship manager to join their team as Stakeholder Interface Coordinator to work from the METRONET Office and support the broad program of works. The team needs someone with exceptional people skills with a natural ability to act as the interface to a number of technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will have highly developed relationship management skills to establish reliable networks as well as an ability to manage different personalities to drive the project forward and bring your stakeholders along with you.
Your ability to organise, both yourself and your key stakeholders, will be critical to the success in this role along with excellent administration and coordination skills. While we are looking for applicants with a general understanding of infrastructure and land use planning projects, we would also love to hear from people with demonstrated experience in the coordination and establishment of strong working relationships with stakeholders.
This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made within the next 12 months. Offers may be made on a fixed term basis with possible extensions.
We currently have one position available until 29 April 2022 with the possibility of it being extended.
