Reporting to the Program Director you will support the delivery of the Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront Project. The $78.1 million Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront project is a major commitment by the State government to revitalise coastal areas adjacent to the City’s CBD, to facilitate community recreation and unlock opportunities for future marine industry development.
Working with both internal and external stakeholders, the Project Officer will work as part of the TBW Program Office team within The South West Development Commission to support and facilitate the development of the TBW program of works.

The Ideal Candidate.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in project management, with the ability to deliver agreed outcomes within a specific timeframes. You will also have well developed interpersonal (including written) skills, problem solving abilities and experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Practical understanding in regional planning and/or procurement processes will also be well received.

To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia.
