Why we need you
The Program Management Office (PMO) is currently seeking to appoint a suitable experienced person to the role of Contract Development and Management Officer based in Don Aitken Centre East Perth.
The Contract Development and Management Officer is responsible for providing specialists support service in development and managing Panel and Period Service Contracts and enabling Main Roads employees to access and utilise these contracts.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate:
- Strong leadership, people and contract management skills,
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build effective and collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships including consultancy service providers to enable effective and efficient resolution of matters and issues,
- Effective research, analysis and problem solving skills particularly in relation to contract administration
About the Role
In this role, you will be required to co-ordinate the delivery of contract development services for the Service Contracts to ensure contracts are delivered in accordance with the approved scope, budget, time and quality.
You will also provide specialist support in the development, maintenance and improvement of systems to review and report on the performance of contractors engaged via the Service Contracts together with providing specialist support service in the development, application of contract documentation and evaluation of tenders.
Conducting financial audits on the contract systems to ensure the integrity of contract data is accurate is required in this role and you will need to manage Service Contracts with records of processing and payment of contract claims.
Finally building and maintaining professional working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including service contractors and other specialist advisors will see you be successful.
