Why we need you
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our Transport Modelling Team as a Transport Modelling Analyst. In this role, you will participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of Main Roads’ travel demand models and involvement in the modelling of future transport scenarios.
To be successful you will need:
- Considerable skill, knowledge and experience in travel demand modelling.
- Project management skills will be critical in this role.
- Research, data collection and analysis skills are essential.
- Skill in the development and implementation of systems and procedures.
- Proven experience in developing positive, collaborative and professional working relationships.
About the Role
The Planning and Technical Services (PTS) Directorate provides design, engineering, environmental, road safety and surveying expertise. We lead the development of integrated technical solutions and services that support a world class, safe, reliable and sustainable road based transport system.
The Asset and Geospatial Branch leads Main Roads in the implementation of integrated technical data solutions and the delivery, capture and management of corporate road asset data, spatial information and essential transport models.
You will be required to work collaboratively with our stakeholders across the organisation and within the transport portfolio. The position is based in our Head Office in East Perth.
