The Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) vision is to be recognised as a leader in providing world-class public transport services and solutions. Efficient public transport is vital for the continued growth of the Western Australian economy and with investment in expansion of the urban rail network continuing via programs such as METRONET, the PTA needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced person to manage a range of important workforce development programs at the PTA, including our Graduate, Vacation Student and Apprenticeship Programs. To be successful in the role you will have a wealth of experience in HR, workforce and/or organisational development, including relevant experience implementing, delivering and managing workforce and organisational development programs. You will also have the capacity to think strategically and apply contemporary practices in order to develop new and existing programs.
This will be a busy role that will suit someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to keep up with the demands of the organisation. We also require someone with the ability to undertake research, identify and analyse issues and find appropriate solutions. It is a key position within POD to help verify the programs are managed and implemented effectively.

Fixed term
This is a fixed term position for up to 24 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
