About the Role
The Strategy and Communications Directorate at Main Roads is focused on creating a consistent, valuable and centralised approach to communication across the organisation. The Directorate is integral in engaging stakeholders, communicating Main Road’s projects to the community, informing, and educating the community about new transport initiatives for the State.
The Directorate is also responsible for the development, evolution and governance of our Main Roads strategy ‘Keeping WA Moving’.
To ensure we deliver the outcomes our customers expect, we are seeking two highly skilled communication and stakeholder engagement professionals with experience working on large and complex transport infrastructure projects.
About You
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate considerable skills in the development and delivery of communications materials and strategies within an organisation for internal and external stakeholders.
As Main Roads is committed to providing the community with excellent customer service and an efficient road network, you will need to demonstrate your ability to communicate and foster strong working relationships and interfaces with a range of stakeholders. Your ability to utilise with your well-developed analysis and problem solving skills will be critical in these roles.
Your proven written communication skills are essential to be successful in this role, ideally with experience developing communication and stakeholder engagement strategies, writing media statements, ministerial correspondence, online content, presentations and the ability to build strong working relationships.
