About the Role
This position is part of the Operational Communications Branch of the Strategy and Communications Directorate. The Operational Communications Branch develops, disseminates and manages communications between the general public and Main Roads while also delivering support and communications for our internal people.
As part of the Internal Communications Team, you will play a part in managing communications with internal staff, as well as the coordination and facilitation of awards and events, the administration of the Main Roads iRoads intranet and digital signage and Portfolio and Managing Directors communications.
The key role of this position will be to prepare and draft internal corporate communications, you will be required to assist in the development, implementation evaluation and management of internal communications objectives, strategies, plans and policies. You will be responsible to manage and promote the use of the “Reward and Recognition Guidelines” across Main Roads to achieve high levels of engagement with the program.
About You
The successful applicant will be team orientated with proven experience in working with a range of stakeholders. Strong communication skills and experience in facilitation and delivering presentations is critical to your success in this role.
Your skill, knowledge and experience in the preparation of organisational communications will need to be demonstrated along with your ability to understand and use corporate communication systems for distribution of internal organisational communications.
