Position Profile
We currently have one (1) permanent full time appointment available for immediate filling.
This process may be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the department. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, the panel may select another suitable applicant from this selection process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from approval of the initial recruitment decision.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to join our team and work with government and industry on trade and market access priorities.
In this role, you will support the Primary Industries Trade team coordinate trade development and market access matters for Primary Industries in WA and proactively engage with industry and government stakeholders to leverage successful trade and business outcomes.
You will also contribute to the development, implementation and review of Primary Industry trade and market access policies that support export growth for the Western Australian Agrifood sector.

Eligibility / Other Conditions
To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term or a casual appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract and this is required as part of your application.
Intrastate and/or interstate travel may be required.
This position is located in South Perth

- Work Related Requirement 5 - Deliver in a changing environment: Well developed planning and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver complex documents and reports in an effective and timely manner.
