The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) is seeking a pool of interested applicants to fill temporary Client Liaison Officer vacancies over the next six months, to ensure business continuty in response to COVID-19.
Temporary appointments may be required at Karrakatta, Pinnaroo, Fremantle or Rockingham Cemeteries.
Temporary vacancies will be filled on a part time or full time fixed-term contract, secondment or casual basis for up to six months.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Client Liaison Officer, you will be focused on providing a high level of customer service in line with MCB’s values of Compassion, Respect, Understanding and Integrity. You will have good listening skills to understand our customers' needs in order to provide them with accurate and relevant information.
You will quickly develop a good working knowledge of the MCB’s services, policies and procedures and be able to interpret and apply the relevant legislation. You will be well supported during training.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR - WORK RELATED REQUIREMENTS
In the context of this position, you must be able to demonstrate:
Essential

- Sound verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively with all people.
- Ability and or experience in resolving complex issues.
- Computer literacy, including skills in word processing packages, email and internet use.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will be required to disclose if they have been subject to disciplinary proceedings by their employer within the last two years.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a current National Police Clearance prior to appointment that is less than six months old
