About the Role
The Asset and Geospatial Branch leads the implementation of integrated technical data solutions and the delivery, capture and management of corporate road asset data, spatial information and essential transport models.
The Asset and Geospatial Data Manager manages the development and provision of Main Roads asset and geospatial information products and services to support the effective management of the road network.
The role focusses on the management of Main Roads Engineering Information Management System, ArcGIS development, implementation of corporate GIS applications and maintaining an Open Data Environment within Main Roads.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have considerable experience in asset and geospatial data management and managing and motivating staff.
As you will be providing specialist advice on the management and application of technical data and its integration into a GIS environment for both internal and external stakeholders, you will need to be a confident and capable communicator with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

2. A statement outlining your comprehensive skill, knowledge and experience in the following three (3) criteria in no more than one (1) criteria per page:
- asset data management systems and processes, including GIS concepts
- application and management of asset and engineering grade datasets
- technical standards and policy formulation, documentation and implementation
3. A copy of your current Western Australian motor vehicle (car) Driver’s Licence or approved equivalent
4. If applicable to you (not mandatory), a copy of your Degree in Surveying or Spatial Sciences or other relevant discipline
