About the Role
The Metropolitan Region manages the day-to-day condition and ongoing development of Main Roads network and assets within the Perth Metropolitan area, to provide safe and efficient road access for the community.
The region are currently looking for a Vegetation Maintenance Manager who will manage the vegetation component of the Annual Maintenance Works Program and directly manage Metropolitan Network Contract resources providing routine maintenance to vegetation assets.
In this role, you will ensure vegetation maintenance is delivered to standard and within available funds and resources under the Metropolitan Network Contract, ensuring the timely delivery of services to best value and best possible appearance of the network.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate your experience in roadside vegetation management and in directly managing landscape maintenance and capital works. You will have well developed project and contract management skills and an ability to interpret landscape drawings will be highly regarded. A strong demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders will be critical in this role.
