Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking a Director Medical Services to join our team in Bunbury.
This position provides day to day management of medical services and medical leadership at Bunbury Hospital to ensure safe clinical service delivery, ensure and support Medical Governance at the Bunbury Hospital, and participate in and lead continuous quality improvement within the Hospital.
This position also provides support to the Regional Director Medical Services in implementing WACHS South West strategic directions and ensuring WACHS South West regional health network performance.
In addition, the successful applicant will establish and maintain collaborative and functional relationships with Contracted Clinical Service providers to ensure seamless timely clinical care delivery.

Bunbury Health Campus is undergoing major upgrades to include a Medical Assessment Unit, Refurbishment of the Emergency Department Fast Track Area, Construction of a new Emergency Theatre, Mental Health Observation Unit to support the delivery of world class health care and provide additional beds for the local communities.
These changes are an example of the ongoing commitment to transform and upgrade hospital facilities.
