This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2020
The role of the Manager – Information Systems is to control, implement and review work procedures and practices that support the responsibilities and activities of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority and ensure compliance with all legislative and administrative requirements and professional standards.
As the successful applicant you will prepare financial plans that take into consideration current and future requirements of allocated project budgets. You will assist the Assistant Executive Director in managing allocated financial resources by providing a regular overview of the current financial status of projects.
Other responsibilities will be to manage project development, design and analysis of new Information, Communications and Technologies systems, major databases or major changes to existing systems, particularly statistical reporting systems collection and the post-examination, including moderation, certificates and awards.
The successful candidate will facilitate the mathematical calculation and quality assurance of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) in the statistical post-examination processing system including moderation, awards, and the achievement of a WACE.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

Eligibility and training requirements
Employees will be required to:
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
