About the Role
Main Roads are currently seeking a professional with extensive experience in budgeting and program development. In this role, you will be required to manage the preparation of the annual budget and outer-years programs and produce annual budget papers. You will work with key stakeholders to provide expert advice in the development of annual budgets programs and conduct research to provide recommendations to senior management that will improve performance of expenditure and budgets against targets. You will manage a small team to ensure budget data systems are updated and maintained and policies and procedures for processes and systems and developed and updated.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate previous budget development, program management and budget financial reporting experience in a large and complex organisation, in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. You will have experience in the development, application and maintenance of budget and program management reporting systems and policies and be able to show your experience in working with and providing expert budget advice to a range of stakeholders.
