About the Role
This is a full-time Fixed Term position for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension or permanency. The most competitive applicant will be offered the position as an expression of interest, secondment opportunity or fixed term contract depending on their circumstances.
The Ministerial Business Co-ordinator is responsible for the co-ordination and preparation of briefing notes, meeting notes and information packages for the Minister for Transport, Members of Parliament, Commissioner and Managing Director of Main Roads. A key part of this role is to co-ordinate Main Roads’ briefing materials for the Minister and agency’s attendance at the Parliamentary Budget Estimates hearings.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have sound experience and understanding of Ministerial business and processes and previous experience working in a Ministerial area. You will be able to demonstrate strong written communication skills, be highly organised with an ability to manage competing priorities in order to meet tight deadlines and an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
