ABOUT THE ROLE
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation is seeking a talented, objective and responsive individual for a full-time opportunity as the Senior Manager of Environmental Compliance.
This position is responsible for leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team that delivers a state-wide environmental compliance audit and inspection program. The role will involve leading reviews into complex matters which require identification of critical information, analysis and decision making in demanding and uncertain circumstances. This position leads the team by providing a clear sense of direction and purpose, setting expectations and monitoring delivery against departmental objectives exemplifying DWER values. Working across a broad spectrum of topics the positions develops and manages important DWER relationships at the national, state and department level, and provides high level support and advice to the Executive Director and Director Operations on complex issues within tight timeframes

Applicants selected for interview will undertake online cognitive and personality testing as well as work related tasks at the Joondalup site in the weeks prior to interview. Interviews are scheduled for December 4 and 5, 2019. All selection criteria will be tested during the selection process and applicant responsiveness and value alignment will also be assessed during the recruitment process.
