About the Role
Main Roads Electrical Asset Management is located within the Metropolitan Region but delivers maintenance, fault repair, rehabilitation and new capital works for Main Roads electrical assets in all regions across Western Australia through its delivery section.
The Delivery Manager Electrical position is currently based in the Main Roads Southern Depot in Jandakot. The Electrical Delivery section designs, installs and maintains Main Roads electrical and ITS assets across Western Australia. These assets include traffic signals, CCTV Cameras, Roadside Lighting, Vehicle Detection Systems, Help Phones, Electronic Speed limit Signs, Variable Message Signs and Fibre Optic and Other Communication Systems.
This position manages the development and implementation of the State Wide Electrical Delivery Plan including Public Tendered Works, Electrical Maintenance Delivery and Electrical Capital Works. You will lead a small team of Project Managers that manage the delivery of electrical infrastructure capital works and maintenance works across Western Australia.
The Delivery Manager is required to work alongside our nominated State Wide Electrical Infrastructure Contract Provider promoting teamwork, supporting our people, integrity, ownership and innovation. This role also has frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders, clients, consultants and other agencies.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have comprehensive experience in construction and/or maintenance of electrical control systems and intelligent transport systems. Your experience on major projects involving electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering that will enable you to confidently provide the required level of advice and direction. You will have the ability to manage staff behaviour, performance and development.
You must have knowledge of the Western Australian Electrical Requirements (WAER) and AS/NZ 3000.3017 and 3019.
Our customers are important to us, hence your ability to develop positive, professional relationships will be well utilised when engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Considering the nature of the position, your capacity to provide technical advice with a high level of written communication skill is crucial.
