The Treasury Summer Vacation Program is a structured learning and development program that runs for 6 weeks from 6 January 2020 to 14 February 2020. The Program is targeted at students in their second and last year of study and presents a great opportunity to experience Treasury before applying for the Treasury Graduate Program.

The Program is open to University students from diverse backgrounds currently undertaking a minimum of an undergraduate degree from all disciplines particularly Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Business/Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Political Science, Public Policy and Actuarial Studies with an academic status of good standing. Applicants must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Treasury is the central department managing Western Australia’s public sector finances and formulating and implementing the annual State Budget. Treasury develops economic and revenue forecasts, monitors developments in the State’s economy, major revenue bases and public sector finances, to ensure Western Australia remains on track against the State Government’s budgetary objectives and targets. Treasury’s policy advisory role covers a wide range of issues, including Commonwealth State financial relations, revenue policy, public sector wages policy, public sector superannuation policy, and advice on alternative models of service delivery and infrastructure provision. - Attach a copy of your current academic record which demonstrates an academic status of good standing
- Attach evidence of Australian citizenship or Australian permanent
- Provide two referees either current or previous supervisors.
