Landgate is committed to improving employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible for appointment to these roles, as a measure intended to achieve equality, as per Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act (WA) 1984.
Landgate’s Graduate Program is a structured 12-month program, and next year’s program commences in February 2020. By Joining a public sector agency renowned for innovative practices, you will gain practical knowledge and experience across our business, laying the foundation for a successful career in the public sector.
Successful graduates will work on a variety of projects across the business which make use of your individual qualifications, skills, experience and interests. Additionally, you will work with people who value collaboration, flexibility and innovation.
During the program you’ll be supported by an experienced mentor from within the business, participate in a tailored professional development program (both on and off the job), build networks with current and past graduates from within Landgate and across the public sector, and have access to our extensive wellbeing program.
Our Aboriginal Graduate Project Officers have access to a number of support options throughout the program, including informal mentoring with other Aboriginal staff, and access to our Employee Assistance Program – a free, confidential counselling service provided for you and your eligible family members, paid for by Landgate. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to Aspire – Landgate’s Aboriginal Economic Participation Strategy.
