The Voluntary Intern Placement (VIP) Program will run for two weeks in January 2020 and again in July 2020 (exact dates yet to be confirmed).
Participants in the program will complete 75 hours of voluntary work in a section of Legal Aid WA's Perth office under the supervision of the Legal Practice Development division and an appointed solicitor.
Regional placements may be available on request, however Legal Aid WA will not cover any travel or accommodation costs associated with these placements.
To be eligible, applicants must be law students entering their final year of studies in 2020.
Students graduating mid 2021 are not eligible this time and must wait to apply for the 2021 January program.
The following dates apply to the VIP recruitment and selection process for 2020:

- Cover letter addressed to the Human Resources Officer (Max. two pages) outlining your particular interest in working at Legal Aid WA;
