About the Role
The Planning and Technical Services (PTS) Directorate provides design, engineering, environmental, road safety and surveying expertise. We lead the development of integrated technical solutions and services that support a world class, safe, reliable and sustainable road based transport system.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our Transport Modelling Team as a Transport Modelling Analyst. In this role, you will participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of Main Roads’ travel demand models and involvement in the modelling of future transport scenarios. You will be required to work collaboratively with our stakeholders across the organisation and within the transport portfolio.
About You
To be successful in this role you will successfully demonstrate your experience in travel demand modelling and in research, data collection and analysis. You will have well-developed project management skills and have experience in the development and implementation of systems and procedures. Your effective communication skills will be essential in delivering outputs for stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
The available position will be offered to the most suitably qualified applicant at either a Level 5 or Level 6, depending on their demonstrated skill, knowledge and experience across the criteria and position’s key deliveries, as assessed by the selection panel.
