Are you looking for a rewarding career change and to make a difference in the community?
Transperth Train Operations is seeking to create a pool of new recruits to be fully trained in the role of Transit Officer. The pool will remain open for a period of six months.
Our Transit Officers have excellent listening skills and remain calm when faced with challenging situations. They provide a superior customer service to our passengers and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of all who travel on our urban network.
Being a Transit officer is a challenging and often demanding role with great rewards, pay and conditions. You will be part of a large and dynamic team working in a variety of locations across the metropolitan rail network.
We are now recruiting for the Forrestfield Airport Link (FAL) line.
The FAL is a new train line that will connect Forrestfield to the Perth CBD, opening up Perth’s eastern suburbs to the rail network for the first time, and giving Perth Airport users the option of taking the train instead of driving. It includes three new stations: Redcliffe, Airport Central and Forrestfield.
While our focus is on recruiting for FAL, you may be rostered to any of the lines at Armadale, Clarkson, Fremantle, Mandurah, Midland or Perth.
