About the role
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries are seeking to establish a pool of suitably experienced Senior Communications Officer’s within the Communications branch of the Office of the Director General.
The pool will be used to fill appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made as vacancies arise over the next twelve months from the initial date of appointment from this pool.

Conditions
A current (within six months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part- time and full- time.
Location
The roles that this pool could be used to fill are based at 246 Vincent Street, Leederville.
