About the Role
Main Roads is seeking to appoint a Business Manager in our Goldfields – Esperance Team.
This is a critical role within the Region, where you will be a member of the regional management team and collaborate with other branch/section managers and staff to contribute to the regions performance in delivering the annual works and road program.
You will assist with the development of the Regional Business Plan and coordinate the performance and reporting requirements of the plan. You will manage the provision of administrative, human resource management, light vehicle, minor plant and land and property services including the facilitating the management of Main Roads properties within the Region.
In this role you are required to provide guidance and support on the use of corporate policies, processes, plans and procedures relating to OSH, procurement, contract administration, budgeting and financial management, inventory management (fixed assets) and the processing and release of contract payments and recoups for local government.
Your responsibilities include leading a small team of people providing business services for the region and being responsible for the performance, development and training of those people.
