About the Role
The Metropolitan Region manages the day to day condition and ongoing development of Main Roads network and assets within the Perth Metropolitan area, to provide safe and efficient road access for the community.
The branch are currently looking for an experienced Asset Manager to efficiently and effectively manage and monitor plans, programs and systems of the road assets in the Metropolitan area.
In this role you will lead and manage a small team in the management, assessment and reporting of road network performance while identifying gaps and developing solutions to optimise its performance. You will be required to work closely in collaboration with stakeholder across the organisation and across the community.
You will provide expert advice in the development and preparation of the Ten Year Network Delivery Plans and Annual Metropolitan Works Programs as well as in to the development and preparation of the Regional Road and Network Plan and Asset Link Plans.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate your comprehensive experience in road asset management. You will have a variety of experience in both project and contract management as you manage improvement projects and contracts, in particular contract resources.
You will have a proven ability to operate and manage priorities in a high pressure environment and your ability to effectively build strong, collaborative working relationships will be critical. Strong leadership and people management skills and experience will be highly regarded.
